The Career Development Centre (CDC), IIT Palakkad, hosted the V-Guard Big Idea Tech Design Competition team on 04 August 2026 for an interactive student engagement and orientation session.
The V-Guard team visited the institute in person to interact with students and introduce them to the competition and its opportunities. The initiative was particularly encouraged by the excellent performance of an IIT Palakkad student in the previous edition of the competition, which impressed the V-Guard team and motivated them to engage with the institute to identify and encourage more talented students.
The session, conducted after 5:00 PM, provided students with an opportunity to interact directly with the V-Guard team, understand the competition, and explore avenues to showcase their technical skills, creativity, and innovative ideas.
The session received positive feedback from the participating students and served as a valuable platform for encouraging innovation, technical excellence, and industry–academia engagement.
